Ali met with the Marketing Director at Mercy McAuley to create a press release that showcased all of the incredible aspects of this show. After a few months, Channel Five reached out and expressed interested in visiting our school to have a story on our production!
Channel 19 also reached out to us after the Press Release, and instead of visiting our school, they asked our director, Katie Geckle and student, Ali Lewis, to visit the studio for a LIVE segment. The B-Roll footage in this clip was filmed entirely by our publicity crew!
This video was filmed and edited entirely by members of publicity crew. We recorded on the first day of tech-week, and we had one day to spice the final product all-together. Ali did not get very much sleep at all...but it was worth it!
To encourage school interest, we created a video that highlighted the school faculty. The students and teachers loved it, and it received over 10,000 views on Facebook!
In addition to recording the radio show audio, we took a step further to create some footage as well to post! It took a lot of time building the set and backdrop.
